Got My Pay is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our budgeting web application.

Quick Summary: All your financial data stays on your device. We don't collect, store, or transmit your budget information to any servers. Your privacy is our priority.

All your data is stored locally in your browser. You can view, edit, or delete any information at any time through the app interface.

Export

Use the "Export Data" feature in Settings to download your complete budget as a JSON file. This gives you a permanent backup that you control.

Delete

You can delete all data in two ways:

Cancel Subscription

You can cancel your premium subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from Settings). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Stripe (Payment Processing)

We use Stripe to process premium subscription payments. Stripe handles all payment information securely and in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We never have access to your complete credit card information.

Ko-fi (Donations)

If you choose to support Got My Pay through Ko-fi, Ko-fi processes those payments independently. We do not have access to your payment information through Ko-fi.

Our app is hosted and served through Vercel. Vercel may collect technical information such as IP addresses and browser data for site performance and security purposes. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details.

Our source code is stored on GitHub. GitHub does not have access to user data or site visitors. See GitHub's Privacy Statement for their general practices.
